Trabalhos fotográficos de Cristina Flória Dasiwa'uburézé: our culture Village Pimentel Barbosa, MT The film was made in 2014 in the Pimentel Barbosa village, in the homonymous Indigenous Land. It reveals the oldest rituals of the A'uwê Uptabi people, as the Xavante call themselves. It relates through the ancients the myths of origin in cartoons, the very old stories and rituals. D eholders of orally transmitted knowledge, the elders are the repositories of memory, the mark of the past in the present. Most of those in this documentary are no longer with us, they left their stories recorded in this film for future generations. Our eternal thanks!
